Renewal training
Completed and application for new licence submitted at least 3 months before Personal licence expiry date
Training for the Licensed Trade by people in the Licensed Trade.
We provide all the courses required for people working or hoping to work in the licensed trade.
With over 50 years experience in the Licensed Trade we feel we are able to provide the required training with the benefit of knowing the realities of working in the industry.
We are ideally suited to run courses for people in Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Dumbartonshire, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire. We will be happy to run a course anywhere in Scotland subject to numbers and suitable venue.
Our Courses.
We run courses with a small class size of a maximum of 6 candidates, this ensures that the trainer can take their time covering the topics and ensure that individuals training needs are met. This is invaluable when English is not the candidates first language.
Our courses are generally run at our premises but we are able to run courses at the clients premises subject to minimum numbers and a suitable room being available that meets exam room criteria.
Larger numbers can be catered for using a third party venue.

Important update –
Check the expiry date on your personal licence if it has less than a year to go, book your renewal course now.
If it has less than three months on it, you have already left it to late. Your licence will be revoked on its expiry date.
The legislation says you must have completed your renewal training at least three months before your Personal Licence expires and apply to the Licence Board that issued your original one.
If you fail to apply before the deadline your licence will be revoked and you will have to complete the Full SCPLH course and submit a new licence application.
We suggest that you complete your training as early as possible but no later than four months before you expiry date, to allow time for certificates to be issued
